About Us - Access to Buildings
Our campus offers an impressive range of buildings, facilities and resources, which are fit for various purposes.
The HUB is our newest building, designed as an integrated learning space for technical and higher education students. It features practical teaching facilities, including an immersive suite, nursery, sensory room, hospital ward, dental suite, opticians, esports arena, specialised IT classrooms, and science laboratories. Additionally, it provides a clean and pleasant environment for individuals to work and study.
Higher education students and staff primarily use the Neville Building, which serves as the heart of our University Centre. This building includes a comfortable, quiet study area which is only accessible to staff or HE students, as we recognise that not everyone has access to a quiet space. The teaching areas have been recently updated and are equipped with screens and computers to support both staff and students in their learning endeavours.
Our Main Building is used to cover a various range of courses but hosts further education programmes. It houses several resources, including the Digital Learning Centre, The Hive, North East Institute of Technology, Halo Salon, The Copper Pot, and a library which a re accessible to everyone.
