DBS

For posts that require contact with students under the age of 18, or vulnerable adults, you will need to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure from the DBS.

To complete your DBS application you will need to complete the steps which are detailed within your appointment letter.

Once you have submitted your application online you will be directed to the identification (ID) guidance page, which will include a list of acceptable forms of ID that you will be required to provide. You will need to provide between three and five pieces of ID from the list, to the Human Resources Department. All forms of identification must be original documents, copies will not be accepted. HR will then approve your online application and send this to the Disclosure & Barring Services for checking.

Once the check is complete, the DBS certificate will be sent directly to your home address. It is essential that as soon as you receive this document that the original certificate is brought to the Human Resources Department.
